T-Mobile G2 to be released January 26th?

The latest Android rumor focuses on the availability of T-Mobile’s next Android handset, the “G2.”  According to a leaked document, the new handset will be available on T-Mobile starting January 26th. In addition to the release date, the leaked document lists a number of specs for the new phone.

The software updates look similar to the “Cupcake”  OS update that has been making the rounds. The hardware looks like a decent upgrade, with 5MP camera and front-facing camera for video calling.

We’ll only have to wait until next month to see if these rumors pan out.
